Professor Emeka J. Okereke , a Nigerian of Imo State origin, attended Aquinas Secondary School Osu-Ama, Government College Umuahia, Imo (now Abia) State University Okigwe and Federal University of Technology Owerri, University of Port Harcourt, Choba, from where he obtained Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking & Finance; Master of Science in Banking & Finance (M.Sc) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Financial Management Technology; respectively. He has received academic, professional and social awards.
Professor Ijeoma Emele Kalu who is currently the Deputy Director of the University of Port Harcourt Business School, is a Professor of Economics (Development Studies). His areas of academic interest and research include but not limited to: Development Studies, Entrepreneurship and Business Studies, as well as Transport and Logistics. He is a longstanding member of the University of Port Harcourt Senate and belongs to several Boards and Committees in the University. He is a visiting Professor to several Universities. He has supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate students and taught several courses at various levels, over the past 25 years as a university don.
